Welcome Freshmen/First Year In College (FTIC) Students to USF and the Department of Biology.

Hosted by the Division of Cell Biology, Molecular Biology and Microbiology, this event is sure to give you the information you need about all the exciting happenings in USF Biology and in the field of study. Click here for a flyer (PDF)


Please complete the following steps so your start at USF will be a smooth one!

Step 1. Complete Admissions Application and pay Admissions Deposit. Note: Oct 1 is deadline for FTIC Spring application. - see links in the Useful Links box to the right

Step 2. Sign up for USF FTIC Orientation.

  • Please direct any and all questions to: USF Office of Orientation Call: 813-974-3060 or go to: SVC 2054.
  • Please note: All students should register for orientation on the campus to which they were admitted. Change of campus requests must be done in writing through the Admissions Office.

Step 3. Review College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) information for FTIC

Step 4. Attend FTIC Orientation (Jan 4, 2007) & Meet with Academic Advisor- please bring any A&P or dual-enrollment credit information with you.
