Scheduling an Advising Appointment
BioAdvise has updated to an online scheduling format!
If you are an accepted or currently registered student at USF, please schedule your
appointment using the link below.
Once you log into the eScheduler, select “Biology”. You are welcome
to choose any available appointment with either Autumn Mueller or Patrice Fischer.
BioAdvise will continue to reserve appointment times for specialty appointments
like:
- Graduating Senior registration preparation (prior to USF semester registration)
- Incoming Transfer Student registration preparation (prior to Orientation)
- AA Hold and AP Hold removal (prior to USF semester registration)
Please call 813.974.3250 and identify your situation to schedule a reserved appointment
slot.
BioAdvise will continue to offer walk-in appointment time slots during registration
rushes.
Walk-in appointments are done on a first come/first serve basis and a maximum of
15 minutes can be allotted to each walk-in. Walk-in

NOTE: The most common reason students wish to see an advisor during the registration
rush is for prerequisite permits. Instead of waiting to see an advisor, please submit
your request ASAP using the instructions at http://biology.usf.edu/ug/permits/.
Permits are processed in the order they are received. We highly recommend submitting
permits PRIOR to registration so that your permits are in the system when you are
able to register for classes.
For Prospective Students interested in a Biology, Microbiology, or Biology with
Marine Concentration degree We offer advising appointments to non-USF students.
However, we respectfully request that non-USF students make appointments when it
is less vital to have the time available for our own students. Please do not make
a non-USF student appointment between the following dates:
- March 1 to April 21
- May 5 to May 26
- August 10 to Sept 5
