Visiting Instructor

Position Summary:
The Department of Cell Biology, Microbiology and Molecular Biology (CMMB) at the University of
South Florida invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure earning, Visiting Instructor with the possible
extension for a second and/or third year. This will be a 9-month appointment with a 100% teaching assignment to
begin Fall semester 2016. Summer appointments are possible. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Biology or a
related discipline at the time of appointment. Applicants with appropriate background to teach
Developmental Biology, Cell Biology and Genetics will be preferred. Experience in teaching large-enrollment courses is
desirable. Salary is negotiable. Candidates should submit a CV, teaching statement, and names of three references.

Minimum Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Biology or a related discipline at the time of
appointment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Applicants with appropriate background to teach Developmental Biology,
Cell Biology, and Genetics will be preferred. Experience in teaching large-enrollment courses is
desirable.
