2009 - Roger D Kornberg

Professor of structural biology in the School of Medicine at Stanford University. Won the 2006 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, “for his studies of the molecular basis of eukaryotic transcription.” .


2010 - Stanley B Prusiner

Director of the Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases and Professor of Neurology and Biochemistry at the University of California, San Francisco. Won the 1997 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, “for his discovery of Prions - a new biological principle of infection.”
