This program allows Biology majors with a Cell and Molecular Biology or Microbiology Major to take up to 12 credits of graduate courses for the elective part of their B.S. requirements and then apply them to a non-thesis M.S. degree in Biology or Microbiology. This program allows successful students to complete the B.S and M.S. degrees in five years.

The program shares 12 credits between two degrees/concentrations:

  1. B.S. in Biology, Concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology
  2. M.S in Biology, Concentration in Cell and Molecular Biology/M.S. in Microbiology

Students who do not begin planning for this degree in their first year might not be eligible based on the strict structuring of each year. For more information, visit the Cell Biology, Microbiology, and Molecular Biology (CMMB) webpage for the Accelerated B.S. to M.S. degree.

The B.S. to M.S. Accelerated Degree is currently on hold

and cannot be declared at this time.
